The CloudBox is Pandora CloudCover’s dedicated streaming player for businesses. It connects to your internet connection and sound system so you can play music and messages without relying on a computer, phone, or tablet.

Because it’s designed specifically for unattended business use, the CloudBox provides a reliable, remotely managed playback experience while helping prevent unauthorized changes at the location.

The CloudBox is designed to stay connected and playing without requiring employees to interact with it.

Unlike a phone, tablet, or laptop, it stays plugged in, doesn’t rely on a battery, and is less likely to be moved, borrowed, or taken away from the location.

There are no everyday on-device controls for changing music or messages, helping prevent unauthorized changes by employees or others at the location. Playback is managed by authorized users through Pandora CloudCover.

Once your CloudBox is connected, authorized users can control playback remotely from the Pandora CloudCover web dashboard or mobile app.

The CloudBox stores music locally to help reduce playback interruptions if your internet connection temporarily goes down.

When the connection is restored, the CloudBox automatically reconnects to Pandora CloudCover.

For locations with limited bandwidth, Prefetch Mode can download music during designated hours for playback later.

If power is interrupted, the CloudBox automatically starts back up when power is restored and reconnects to Pandora CloudCover without requiring someone at the location to restart playback manually.

For most locations, setup is straightforward:

Music should begin playing automatically once the CloudBox is online.

An RCA audio cable is included. Depending on your equipment, the CloudBox can also connect using HDMI, SPDIF, or Bluetooth.

Connect the CloudBox to a TV or display using HDMI, then use the Display Library in Pandora CloudCover to publish images and videos to that screen.

Each independently controlled display requires its own CloudBox and Zone.
