Permissions Overview

This guide explains the different permission levels available for Music Access, Messaging Access, Player Permissions, and Admin Permissions in your account. Permissions determine what actions users can take within the platform.

Admin Permissions

Admin Permission

Description

Account Owner

(account creator)

Full account access to music, messaging, billing, and all other features.

Billing Admin

Can change subscription plans, update billing information, manage regions, and add locations/zones.

Music Admin

Can manage all mixes, dayparts, company-approved stations, removed songs, and regions, and control the music playing across all locations.

Message Admin

Can manage all message presets, message schedules, and regions, control the messages that play across all locations, and request message production.

User Admin

(SSO only)

Can manage users, assign permissions, modify Pandora Radio settings, and configure single sign-on (SSO).

Music Permissions

Description

Select Music

The user can view and select stations, mixes, and dayparts but cannot create, edit, or delete them.

Manage Music

The user can create and manage station mixes and dayparts.

Messaging Permissions

Select Messages

The user can view and select message presets and schedules, but cannot create, edit, or delete them.

Manage Messages

The user can upload messages, manage message presets, and manage schedules.

Music Player Permissions

Player Permission

Description

Pause

Pause music playback.

Skip Songs

Advance to the next track.

Remove Songs

Remove a song from playback so it will not play again.

Change Volume

Adjust the audio volume for playback.

Other

Permission

Description

Limit to Company Selections

Limits the location only to stations, mixes, and dayparts approved by the Music Admin
