Pandora CloudCover pays public performance licensing fees for standard background music in the US and Canada on your behalf. Most CloudCover customers don't have to pay an additional public performance rights fees to the local collecting societies.

However, CloudCover does not cover the following public performance rights:

  • Music played in an establishment that charges an admission fee (ex. theme park, nightclub, skating rink).

  • Music played during instructed health club classes, such as a dance studio or fitness class (e.g., spin, step, yoga, aerobics, etc.)

  • Music from a live band, for karaoke, or from a DJ

CloudCover plans include public performance licenses for ASCAP, BMI, SoundExchange, SOCAN, GMR, and Re:Sound. Our curated business stations do not have any content that is covered by SESAC.

At this time, we do not provide service to any other international locations.
