Reset Browser Cookies and Cache

Safari

Clear the Cookies and Cache

  1. Open Safari

  2. In the menu bar (top left of your screen) click History

  3. At the bottom of the menu, choose Clear History…

  4. Use the drop-down menu to select All History

  5. One last time, click Clear History

  6. Along with clearing your Safari history, this also clears your cookies and cache

Firefox

Clear the Cookies and Cache

  1. Click the menu button and select Preferences.

  2. Select the Privacy & Security panel.

  3. In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data….

4. Confirm Cookies and Site Data is checked

5. Confirm Cached Web Content check marked, click the Clear button.

6. Close the about:preferences page. Any changes you've made will automatically be saved.

Chrome

In Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Chrome

  2. At the top left, click Chrome .

  3. Click Preferences

  4. Click Privacy and Security

  5. Select Clear Browsing Data

  6. Select Time Range All

  7. You can deselect Browsing history if you like

  8. Click Clear Data

Microsoft Edge

  1. Launch Microsoft Edge: Open the Microsoft Edge browser on your Mac computer.

  2. Access the Settings menu: Click on the three horizontal dots in the top-right corner of the browser window. This will open a dropdown menu.

  3. Open the Settings panel: From the dropdown menu, click on "Settings." This will open the Settings panel in a new tab.

  4. Navigate to Privacy, Search, and Services: In the Settings panel, locate and click on "Privacy, Search, and Services" on the left-hand side. This will display the Privacy, Search, and Services options.

  5. Clear browsing data: Under the Privacy, Search, and Services section, click on "Choose what to clear" under the "Clear browsing data" heading. This will open the Clear browsing data panel.

  6. Select the time range: In the Clear browsing data panel, click on the dropdown menu next to "Time range." From the options presented, choose "All time" to delete cookies accumulated since the beginning.

  7. Choose cookies to delete: Make sure the "Cookies and other site data" option is selected. You can also select other types of browsing data to clear if desired.

  8. Delete cookies: Click on the "Clear" button to delete the selected browsing data, including cookies.
