Each Nuvo player has a 3.5mm stereo audio Line In (or red/white RCA jacks for he P3500) on its back panel. This input allows any local zone analog music source (a CloudBox, phone, tablet, or computer) to be plugged in and added to the system as an additional source of input.

Connecting a CloudBox

  1. If your Nuvo player has a red and white input source on the back, you may directly plug the red and white plugs into the matching input jacks.

  2. If your Nuvo player has only a single Line In input source on the back, you will need to use an RCA y-adaptor (see here for an example) and plug the adaptor into the input jack.

  3. When a Line In device is connected to a zone, select "Line In" from the Nuvo app as shown below. The device will appear in the "Line In" menu as "Line Input" and be available for selection from all the zones.

  4. You may "Rename" this Line In selection by touching the arrow button next to "Line Input", this allows a specific name to be given to it in the app.

Connecting a Phone, Tablet, or Computer

  1. Connect your device with an audio cable to the Nuvo player at the Line In input source in the back as shown below.

  2. When a Line In device is connected to a zone, select "Line In" from the Nuvo app as shown below. The device will appear in the "Line In" menu as "Line Input" and be available for selection from all the zones.

  3. You may "Rename" this Line In selection by touching the arrow button next to "Line Input", this allows a specific name to be given to it in the app.

  4. If you do not hear music streaming, please check your volume on the Nuvo player as well as the streaming device. You must make sure that your streaming device (the phone, tablet, or computer streaming from the Pandora CloudCover app or the Tune web portal) is set to "Play on this Device" or "Play Here" respectively.
